Ted's LightSpace CMS Calibration Disk Auto-Sequence Chapters are integrating with LightSpace Software by using LightSpace’s DIP Mode.

LightSpace DIP Mode (Display Independent Profiling) is used mainly at professional post-production facilities / Digital Intermediate grading systems for calibrating the whole image chain.

DIP Mode displays the required patches of your selected cube size by a fixed order and you can select the time that each color pattern will be displayed.

Ted's LightSpace CMS Calibration Disk features DIP Mode Chapters from 1 sec. till 8 sec. to provide compatibility with every available meter.

For the LightSpace users, all chapters are automated, they don't require any user prompt except one initial time synced mouse click at the beginning of each DIP Mode Chapter.

Each LightSpace Chapter starts with a 5 sec. chapter info screen, and after that there is 5 sec. ‘old film like’ countdown. The users will have to perform a synced mouse click to the 'OK' button at the LightSpace’s start measurements confirmation window, when they will see the last countdown frame which says 'Start'.

The above video shows the LightSpace Quick Profiling: Primary Colors DIP Mode 1 sec. chapter that Klein K-10A users can use with 1 sec per patch only!

For X-Rite i1Display PRO (id3) users, they can use DIP Mode Chapters 4/5/6 sec per Color Patch, to perform automated profilings without user prompt, except that initial mouse click.

At the end of each Chapter there a 10 sec. info screen with cube size presentation to inform you that your profiling readings have been completed.

Each CalMAN Chapter starts with a 5 sec chapter info screen, after that there is a 1.5 sec pattern info announcement before each color patch to prepare you of what patch you will measure; followed by 0.5 sec of black frame and later with 2/6/10 sec of displaying time of the color patch.

If you want to reduce the total required measuring time of the 10 sec. displaying of each patches you can use the ‘next’ button of your Blu-Ray player remote to immediately move to the next color patch after each meter read.

Ted’s LightSpace CMS Calibration Disk (Version 1.1) features 3 user options in total for automatic pattern change: 2 / 6 / 10 sec per each color patch.

Klein users will be able to use 2 sec per color to measure very fast, other meter users will have the option of 6 or 10 sec of displaying of each Patch, working like a pattern generator, the user will have only to click multiple times to his software ‘Meter Measure’ Button, so it will require less usage of the Blu-Ray remote.

To access this you have to dial the Chapter button you see at the Chapter Info Screen using your numpad of your Blu-Ray Player, for example to go directly to CalMAN's ColorChecker SG 2 sec. per color, you have to press '99'.

Each CalMAN color patch is an exact replica of CalMAN's RGB Triplets, based on CalMAN's color engine calculations.

Each CalMAN Chapter has the exact pattern order as CalMAN request them for each Grayscale/Saturation/Luminance/Color Checker run.

Each Color Patch don’t have any percentage number or text indicator inside the patch window or at background like other calibration disks are using.

It’s a pure color patch window; like it’s been generated by an external pattern generator.

Ted's LightSpace CMS Calibration disk users have access to three exclusive CalMAN 5 Workflows to make their experience/calibration time simplier/easier/faster.

Using CalMAN's Auto Advance feature, it will require from you to click the single measure button 11 times for 11-Point Grayscale or 21 times for 21-Point Grayscale, without using your Blu-Ray Remote, in case you will not use your Blu-Ray Player Remote and only click to measure each time you will see each color patch displayed to your screen. The CalMAN's Color Slider will automatically select your next color after each meter read.

Ted’s Lightspace CMS Calibration Disk includes CalMAN chapters that are not available in any other calibration disk to support CalMAN 5 measurements including ColorChecker SG, ColorChecker SG Fleshtones, 4/5/10-Point Saturation of 100% or 75% Amplitude, 4/5/10-Point Luminance, Dynamic Range (Clipping / Clipping with Peak), and 6-Step Near Black (0.5-1-2-3-4-5%).

To support these measurements, three exclusive workflow files were created and only the disk users will have access to download them.

This is a video example of CalMAN’s 11-Point Grayscale Chapter with 6 sec. of displaying per each color patch, following the exact pattern order as CalMAN Software request them. All CalMAN/ChromaPure Chapters have that option; to display with AutoAdvance each color patch for 6 sec. and there available @ Ted’s LightSpace CMS Calibration Disk version 1.1 release only.
